Chocolate Cake

- 4oz butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
- 1.5 cups self-rising flour
- 1.5 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 cap of vanilla essence
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Prepare a cake tin with oil and baking paper
- Cream butter and sugar with electric mixer
- Beat eggs, then add
- Combine milk and bicarbonate soda, then stir in
- Add flour and cocoa slowly, stirring between or while beating on low
- Add vanilla
- Add boiling water
- Pour into tin and bake for 30-40 minutes
