Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients
Makes
- 450g dark choclate
- 5 egg whites
- 4 egg yolk
- 300ml cream, whipped
Preparation
- Melt the chocolate and with 50ml of water in a heat-proof bowl over a saucepan on low heat. Once melted, cool for 5 minutes
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form
- Add and beat egg yolks into the melted chocolate one at a time
- Fold whipped cream into the chocolate mixture and then fold in egg whites in two batches
- Refrigerate until set
